Through the UDO process, the County`s primary goals are to:

1. Consolidate and streamline its land use, development, and subdivision regulations;
2. Address current unmet needs and changing circumstances;
3. Reflect the vision of the County as expressed in the adopted Comprehensive Plan;
4. Make sure that the ordinance is logically organized, legally sound, and practical to enforce;
5. Promote a high quality of customer service through the ordinance by making sure that it is structured for readability; and
6. Provide easy access to information, both in hard copy and in online versions.
