| The Senior Water Resources Engineer I will be responsible for interpreting information, organizing project processes and teams, and overseeing the planning and execution of a wide variety of work assignments, most notably in the coastal engineering, restoration and management field. The position requires a Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering with a Masters in Coastal Engineering preferred. A strong working knowledge and proven success record with marinas/waterfront development, wetland and coastal analysis, navigation/dredging/disposal, hydraulic modeling and habitat restoration is required. The successful candidate will have a strong business development aptitude and will oversee the development and execution of project pursuits in the private, local, state and federal government sectors. The candidate will also be assisting company management in the establishment of a water resources practice in Louisiana and will work to increase the company’s visibility in the specific area of practice; track and respond to market/industry trends and business climate; establish teaming relationships; lead and prepare proposals; prepare and implement annual business plans; and provide technical guidance to staff performing work in the water resources arena. |
