Applications for pre qualification for bidding will be received at the offices Columbus Water Works, 1421 Veterans Parkway, Columbus, Georgia 31901, until 4:00 p.m., local time, on April 27, 2010. Only Bids submitted by properly pre-qualified Bidders will be opened.

*** Note change in Pre-Bid Conference date (change made via Addendum No. 2)*** A Pre Bid Conference will be held for all Bidders at 2:00 p.m., local time, May 24, 2010, at offices of Columbus Water Works, 1421 Veterans Parkway, Columbus, Georgia 31901. All Bidders are encouraged but are not required to attend.

A MANDATORY Pre-Bid Conference will be held on Monday, May 24, 2010 at 2:00 PM at the St. Bernard Parish Government Department of Public Works, 1125 E. St Bernard Highway, Chalmette, Louisiana. All bidders must attend and sub-contractors are encouraged to attend.

The Owner will furnish and Contractor shall install the 20-inch cement and specialty lined ductile iron pipe for the force main construction.

A mandatory Pre Bid Conference will be held for all Bidders at 2:00 p.m., local time, May 11, 2010 at Palmetto City Hall, 509 Toombs Street, Palmetto, Georgia 30268. A Bid submitted by a Bidder not having attended the Pre Bid Conference will not be opened.

The project will have a base bid and three alternates.

A pre-bid meeting will be held on May 4, 2010 at 10:00 am in the Sam King Room at City Hall/Auditorium, 601 Broad Street, Rome Georgia 30161. Interested parties are encouraged to attend.

Site #18 Kingsbury Drive: Replacing twin 36-inch pipes with approximately 45 feet of 10 foot x 5 foot box culvert, one new storm structure, 13 feet of 18-inch reinforced concrete pipe, and repairing a portion of the road.

Site #38 Walnut Street Lane: Replacing 36-inch x 50-inch arched brick storm sewer with approximately 300 feet of 54-inch reinforced concrete pipe, five storm structures, a 10 foot section of 15-inch and 24-inch reinforced concrete pipe, approximately 11 tap connections, repairing a portion of Second Street, and replacing a portion of Walnut Street Lane.

Site #61 Hyde Park: Replacing 18-inch pipe with approximately 35 feet of 18-inch reinforced concrete pipe and 64 feet of 24-inch reinforced concrete pipe, replacing 48-inch pipe with approximately 16 feet of 54-inch reinforced concrete pipe, five new storm structures, 31 feet of 18-inch reinforced concrete pipe, and repairing a portion of the road and residential driveway.

Site #63 Claridge Court: Replacing 54-inch x 36-inch, 36-inch and 48-inch pipe with approximately 300 feet of 48-inch reinforced concrete pipe, three new storm structures, and repairing a portion of the road and residential yard.

A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at the Macon Water Authority, 790 Second Street, Macon, Georgia on Tuesday, April 27, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. An optional tour of the Project sites will be conducted by the Engineer after the pre-bid conference. All potential attendees are requested to notify Randy Smith (email rosmith@maconwater.org or 478-464-5635 ext 5642) of their tentative attendance so that the proper mass transportation can be arranged for the site tour.

There will be a pre-bid meeting on Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at the Public Works Conference Room located at 1905 24th Street, Kenner, Louisiana 70062. All interested bidders are encouraged to attend.

An open mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held for all interested bidders and vendors on February 24th, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. at the project site.

A pre-bid conference will be held on March 9, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at the Planning and Public Utilities Building, 4986 Highway 53, Braselton, Georgia 30517. All interested parties are invited to attend. Attendance is not mandatory.
